How To Book This Tour

What is Standard Ger Camp ?

What is Ger Guesthouse ?

Some nomadic families who live within national parks or sightseeing areas run their own small businesses that rent ger accommodations for backpackers. This gives you a chance to get closely acquainted with the way of life and the nomadic lifestyle. During our budget tours, you will stay in Mongolian traditional accommodation, Ger Guesthouse. A Ger Guesthouse typically has 4-6 beds, and occupancy is based on multi-share but only with your group members and not with other tours. However, it’s important to note that most nomadic families do not have formal toilets in their summer places. So, the most you can expect to find is a designated toilet trench that may be screened on three sides. Additionally, please be aware that no showering facilities will be available in some of the local ger guesthouses.
