DAY 1 Arrival in UB

Our team will greet you at the airport. After you freshen up from your flight, we will start our first day around Ulaanbaatar, beginning with Gandan Monastery. From there, we will proceed to the National History Museum, which tells the rich history of Mongolia. Afterward, we will take a walk around Sukhbaatar Square. We’ll have dinner before dropping you off at the hotel.

DAY 2 Elsen Tasarkhai

We will meet you at 8:30, then our tour will head to the Semi Gobi  Elsen Tasarkhai. Elsen Tasarkhai is a stunning semi-desert region located in central Mongolia. It boasts a unique mix of sandy dunes, grasslands, rocky formations, and small water bodies, creating a captivating natural scene. The area is often referred to as the “Mini Gobi” due to its resemblance to the larger Gobi Desert. Camel riding 1h.

DAY 3 Terkh & Khorgo

Khorgo Terkhiin Tsagaan Nuur National Park is a popular destination for tourists and nature enthusiasts. Visitors can engage in activities such as hiking,  horseback riding, birdwatching, and exploring the volcanic formations. One of the park’s highlights is Horgo Volcano, a dormant volcano covered with basalt. Hiking to the volcano and exploring its unique crater is a must-do activity. Horse riding 1h

DAY 4 Tsenkher Hot Springs

The hot springs are renowned for their mineral-rich waters, which are believed to possess healing properties owing to the presence of various minerals, including calcium, sodium, and sulfur. Moreover, it’s not only a haven for relaxation but also a fantastic spot for nature enthusiasts and photographers.

DAY 5 Kharkhorum

Kharkhorin was established as the capital of the Mongol Empire by Genghis Khan’s son, Ögedei Khan, in 1235. It served as the political, cultural, and economic center of the empire for several decades. Adding to its historical allure, one of the most famous landmarks in Kharkhorum is the Erdene Zuu Monastery. Built in 1585 on the ruins of the ancient city, it is one of the oldest Buddhist monasteries in Mongolia.

DAY 6 Ulaanbaatar

After breakfast, we’ll head from Kharkhorin to Ulaanbaatar. Check into a hotel and enjoy a free day to explore the city on your own.

When to Go to Mongolia ?

The best time to visit Mongolia is during the Mongolian summer, from mid-June to the last week of August. This is the best time of the year to visit Mongolia in terms of weather. You’ll enjoy sunny days throughout the country, and there’s enough rainfall to make the steppes lush and green. Both June and September are very pleasant times to visit Mongolia. September, in particular, offers an enjoyable, colorful experience with comfortable temperatures that are neither too hot nor too cold. During this time, nomads have plenty of dairy products and are busy processing milk in preparation for winter.

In terms of specific months:

July is the best time to witness the Mongolia Naadam Festival.

The best season for a Gobi Desert tour is from June to September, with October being the shoulder season.

July to August is the ideal season for traveling to Northern Mongolia and taking a tour of Khuvsgul Lake, while September marks the beginning of the shoulder season.

The first week of October is a great opportunity to attend the Golden Eagle Festival in Altai, Western Mongolia.

February is the best time to experience Mongolia’s winter season.
