DAY 1 TERELJ NP & CHINGES KHAN STATUE

 9.00 AM we will pick you up from your booked hotel. Then we will depart to Chinges Khan statue complex. After visiting statue complex, we will drive to Terelj NP.Gorkhi Terelj is one of the most visited and interesting parks of Mongolia. The natural landscape is colorful and with magnificent alpine scenery. One of the most recognizable attractions of Terelj is Turtle Rock. And a few kilometres from Turtle Rock, you will find another must-see spot, the Ariyabal Meditation Temple. From the top of the temple, you can see the beautiful view of the national park.

DAY 2 BAGA GARARIN CHULUU

Baga Gazariin Chuluu –(Rock Formations) is a 15 km long and 10 km wide stone massif, is located Middle Gobi. This site is about 4 hours south of Ulaanbaatar. Over 20 kinds of medical herbs and many species of exist here. The granite Stone Mountain formations look like melted marshmallows one on top of another. Also, there is a spring water which comes from under source is good for eye illness. 

DAY 3 TSAGAAN SUVARGA

The scarp of Tsagaan Suvarga is located in Ulziit soum of Dundgovi province. The cliff is 30 meters high and 100 meters wide. Over thousands of years the wind has created this amazing structure. Tsagaan suvarga is a big escarpment with 200m height and 400m long. Also it’s 90 degree of straight, consists of many colors of clay deposits. It looks like an ancient city. And sometimes looks like white stupas from a distance. After heavy rains,the unusual forms of cliffs can also look like a massive waterfall. So you can enjoy hiking around colorful Stupa.  

DAY 4 YOL VALLEY

Yoliin Am is  about 60 kilometres (37 miles) Southwest Dalanzadgad, in the mountains of Züün Saikhan .Yol valley forms a gorge that is so deep and so narrow, that only two persons can pass in some places. You can discover enormous cliffs and narrows and a glacier that doesn’t melt until the end of the June. Adorable chipmunks of the family Sciuridae and other wild animals exist here. Enjoy small hiking and photographing the charming landscape and wildlife. 

DAY 5 KHONGOR SAND DUNES

Khongor sand dunes are one of the largest sand dunes in Mongolia. And it covers a 180km long area. The largest dunes are North West of the range up to 800 meters high. You can climb to the top of the sand dunes and slide down. The view of the desert is awesome from the top of the sand dunes.Experience the endangered two-humped Bactrian camels and big open blue skies in the Gobi .

DAY 6 BAYANZAG- FLAMING CLIFFS

Today we will drive to Bayanzag. Bayanzag (The Flaming Cliffs) is famous for its historical events, dinosaur fossils and the very first discovery of the Dinosaur eggs. Roy Chapman Andrews, an American explorer who is known for his leading a series of expeditions named this site “Flaming Cliffs” as the colors turn more inevitably red especially at a sunset. It is illegal to remove or move the dinosaur fossils from its first place if you found one.

DAY 7 ONGI MONASTERY

The older southern complex consisted of various administrative buildings as well as 11 temples. The northern complex, built in the 18th century, consisted of 17 temples – among them one of the largest temples in all of Mongolia. The grounds housed also 4 Buddhist universities. It was completely destroyed in 1939. Although there is little left, it is interesting to go there to explore the ruins.

DAY 8 KHARKHORUM

Kharakorum was the capital of the Mongol Empire from 1235 to 1263. The site of Karakorum may have been first settled about 750. In 1220 Genghis Khan established his headquarters there and used it as a base for his invasion of China. Erdene Zuu  – The first Buddhist monastery called Erdene-Zuu was built on ruins of Karakorum . And it was built in 1586 at the initiative of Avtai khan, most influential Prince of that time in Mongolia. Enjoy Mongolia Overland Tour 

DAY 9 ORKHON WATERFALL

  Orkhon waterfall is one of the best sights in Central Mongolia. The area is ideal for Fishing; Horse riding; Cycling and Photography. Also scenic and untouched natural distinct spots allow good opportunities for hiking and horseback riding. This valley is known as the home of Mongolian nomadic culture.  

DAY 10 TSENKHER HOT SPRINGS

Tsenkher hot springs lies south of Tsetserleg town in Arkhangai province. The water has high mineral content and containing everything from simple calcium, sodium to sulphuric. Folklore claimed medical value some of this springs have. There are several tourist camps which offer indoor and outdoor baths. They transfer the hot water via tubes from  and built some pools. Curative water and amazing nature featured by wooden mountains make this an excellent place for relax. Night bath is great. Sitting in the pool drinking while seeing stars at the dark sky is one of the favorite activity in here.

DAY 11 TERKH WHITE LAKE & KHORGO

This national park is the highlight of Arkhangai province. Because of volcanic eruptions, nature has a very unique formation. The White Lake is the jewel of Arkhangai. And  it is one of the most beautiful lakes in the country. It is situated at an altitude of 2.060 meters. And the Lake is extremely beautiful with fresh water and rich species of fish and birds.After exploring the environment, you can prepare yourself for next day’s horse trip.

DAY 12 HORSE TRIP

After breakfast at 10:00 am, start your horse trip to volcano with well trained local guide and your tour guide. Before riding your guide will give you clear instruction about horse riding. KHORGO is an altitude of 2200 meters above sea level.

DAY 13 SHINE IDER

We will do a full day of driving to the Shine ider village of Khuvsgul province.

DAY 14 KHUVSGUL LAKE

Today we will drive to Huvsgul Lake, the deepest and purest lake in Mongolia. Known as the Blue Pearl of Mongolia, it borders Siberia and has magnificent landscape views.

DAY 15 LAKE KHWSGUL

In the morning we will hike in the surrounding forest mountains to have a better look of the crystal blue lake.  In the afternoon we will visit Reindeer Tribe. ( for the tourists from June until the end of Aug available to see ) Boating 1h

DAY 16 URANTOGOO

After having breakfast, we will drive to the mountain called Uran Togoo which is an extinct volcano which is another attractive destination of Northern Mongolia which located about 60kms from Bulgan city.

DAY 17 AMARBAYASGALANT MONASTERY

Amarbayasgalant is one the largest monasteries, too, and it also considered architecturally the most beautiful. Unfortunately, some buildings were damaged during the religious purges of the 1930s and 10 of the 37 temples were destroyed. Restoration work was completed recently with the help of UNESCO.

DAY 18 DRIVE BACK UB

Drive back to UB, on the way having lunch. Transfer to your booked hotel or guesthouse.
