About Mongolia budget tours

Mongolia Budget Tours are a wonderful way to explore the stunning landscapes and rich culture of Mongolia without spending too much. These budget tours are ideal for travelers who want a real, up-close adventure while keeping their trip affordable. For example, you’ll often stay in traditional yurts  with local nomadic families. This gives you a rare chance to see how they live from day to day and to learn about a way of life that has stayed the same for hundreds of years.

In addition, many Mongolia Budget Tours also include nights in tourist ger camps, which offer a bit more comfort while still keeping the traditional feel. This mix provides the best of both worlds — a real, simple experience with a touch of comfort. As you travel across Mongolia, you’ll see some of Mongolia’s most famous and beautiful places. These include the wide Gobi Desert, the green Orkhon Valley, and the peaceful heart of Central Mongolia. In the Gobi, you’ll visit Bayanzag, also known as the Flaming Cliffs. The red rocks glow at sunset. This is also where some of the world’s first dinosaur fossils were found. Along the way, you can also ride camels or horses. You can hike through wild, pure land. You’ll visit ancient Buddhist temples hidden in cliffs and valleys. Each place shows a new side of Mongolia’s beauty and history.

Whether you’re traveling alone, as a couple, or with friends, Mongolia Budget Tours offer excellent value, rich cultural experiences, and lasting memories. Choosing a Mongolia Budget Tour means you don’t have to sacrifice experience for cost — you can enjoy both. Every day here brings something new. Whether you’re riding, walking, or just looking around, the land will stay with you long after the trip ends.

Ger Guesthouses ( provided by local nomadic families)

Some nomadic families living in national parks or tourist areas run small businesses that rent out yurt to travelers. This gives you a great chance to experience their lifestyle up close. On our budget tours, you’ll stay in a traditional Ger Guesthouse. These usually have 4 to 6 beds and are shared only with other members of your tour group—not with strangers.
Please note: Most nomadic families don’t have formal toilets at their summer camps. The best you might find is a basic outdoor toilet, with walls on three sides for privacy. Also, some nomadic families’ gers may not have any shower facilities.

Standard Ger Camps

Standard Ger Camps are like hotels, but instead of rooms, you sleep in a yurt. These camps are usually near famous places.
A Standard Ger has 2 to 4 single beds, a small table, a stove to keep warm, and sometimes a a shelf or a small sink. There is no bathroom inside the ger. You will use clean toilets and hot showers in another building nearby. There is also a place to eat, and sometimes a small bar or game room.
Some camps have Ensuite Gers. These have a private bathroom inside the ger. If you want this type, please tell us. We can book it for you, but it costs extra.
