Day 1 Baga Gazariin Chuluu –Rock Formations

Baga Gazariin Chuluu –Rock Formations.Today we are driving to baga gazriin chuluu /rock formation/ is a 15 km long and 10 km wide stone massif, is located Middle Gobi.Stay overnight in a ger.(Lunch, Dinner)

Day 2 White Stupa

Today’s destination is White Stupa is located in MIddle Gobi. The name Tsagaan Suvarga (White Stupa) is given by local people to the impressive and legendary cliff which is eroded by natural phenomen on. Having 10 million years history, the cliff indicates different times by its colored layers. Tsagaan Suvarga is interesting to see the sheer slope, facing east, which from a distance seems to be the ruins of the ancient city. Enjoy hiking around colorful Stupa, feeling like meditation in there.Stay overnight in a ger.(Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 3 Yolyn Am, or ‘Eagle Valley’

Today’s destination is Yolyn Am, or ‘Eagle Valley’.  Enjoy small hiking and photographing the charming landscape and wildlife. Visit Gobi museum. These areas are situated in the Gobi Gurvan Saikhan National Park that encompasses the “Three Beauties” peaks and the most easterly points of the Altai Mountains.Stay overnight in a ger.(Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 4  Khongor sand dune

We continue our journey to the Khongor sand dune or known as Singing Dune that is one of the biggest sand dunes of Mongolian. It has an extraordinary length of approximate 100 kms and 12 kilometers wide. There is an oasis near a river Khongor at the northern edge of the sand dunes. Free day for leisure nearby the sand dune. Dune journey, camel riding and trekking.  Stay overnight in a ger.(Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 5 Bayanzag(flaming cliffs)

Today we will drive to Bayanzag, (known as a Flaming Cliffs where the first nest of dinosaur eggs found in 1922) a site famous for the remains of dinosaurs which lived here 60 million years ago. You can walk around where dinosaurs once roamed and see saxaul trees and other classic desert vegetation. Overnight in camp. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

 Day 6 Ongi monastery

Drive to Ongi monastery. The older southern complex consisted of various administrative buildings as well as 11 temples. The northern complex, built in the 18th century, consisted of 17 temples – among them one of the largest temples in all of Mongolia. The grounds housed also 4 Buddhist universities. It was completely destroyed in 1939. Although there is little left, it is interesting to go there to explore the ruins. Stay overnight in a ger.(Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 7 Orkhon Waterfall

Drive to Orkhon Waterfall, which was formed by volcanic eruptions about 20.000 years ago, the waterfall cascades from a height of 20 km. It is a scenic, tranquil spot and the surrounding nature is undisturbed, where is hiking. Stay overnight in a ger.(Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 8 Tsenkher hot spring

Drive to Tsenkher hot springs . There is several tourist camps which are offering for tourists indoor and outdoor baths. They transfer the hot water via tubes from and built some pools. There are also indoor pools. Men and women bathe separately. It is an excellent place to relax. In a valley carpeted with wild flowers and framed by forested mountains .Stay overnight in a ger camp. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 9 Terkhiin Tsagaan Nuur 

Today we are going to drive to Terkhiin Tsagaan Nuur on a very good newly built paved road until reaching destination.  It is an astonishingly beautiful lake with relatively pure fresh water. Torrents of lava issuing from the Khorgo volcano blocked the north and south Terkh rivers, so forming the dammed lake of Terkhiin Tsagaan Lake at an altitude of 2060 meters above sea level. The lake supports Pike and other fish. Rare birds are found here. After exploring the environment, you can prepare yourself for next day’s horse trip. Stay overnight in a ger.(Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 10  Terkh White Lake (horse trip to Khorgo Volcano)

After breakfast at 10:00 am, start your horse trip to volcano with well trained local guide and your tour guide. Before riding your guide will give you clear instruction about horse riding.KHORGO is  an altitude of 2200 meters above sea level.  . Stay overnight in a ger.(Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 11 Kharkhorin

Early morning we will start drive to Kharkhorum ancient capital city .Explore Erdene Zuu Monastery and modern style historical Museum . Visit to some other sightseeing. Stay overnight in a ger.(Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 12 Ulaanbaatar

Drive back to UB, on the way having lunch



Most people picture Mongolian Gobi as a sandy flat area, sand dunes, infertile dried mud soil or… ,but after they traveled Mongolia, they completely deny it and define Mongolian Gobi it supports life and is an amazingly surprising area, every day. Some parts of Mongolian Gobi are daunting rocky mountains covered with plants. The mountainous areas have plenty of streams, springs and wild animals while other parts have views of marvelous blue mountains combined with high, long continuing sand dunes, lush green-shored streams and endless steppes edge with horizon. Hundreds of sheep and goat herds, horses, cattle and the world rare Bactrian camels will be seen on steppes or among mirages in middle of nowhere is another picture of Mongolian Gobi. After wandering around Gobi, we will then head north to Central Mongolia. Here you will enjoy spectacular and lush greenery, swimming in freshwater lakes and waterfalls, as well as many famous cultural sites.
